Hydel power potential of province to be utilized for economic revival: KP CM

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan says hydel power potential of the province will be utilized for the economic revival and growth.
Addressing a meeting along Federal Minister for Energy Umer Ayub in Peshawar, he said locally produced electricity could be extended to Malakand and other areas where WAPDA could not lay down the transmission lines to connect these power stations to the national grid.
Mehmood Khan said the government has evolved a mechanism to effectively discourage power theft and liberate the people from over billing.
