LAHORE – Pakistani actor Babar Ali has reportedly received death threats from some extremists elements forcing him to leave Pakistan.
As per the media report, Babar Ali has left the country for the United States after receiving death threats from unknown extremists.

The 43-year-old began his career on television some two decades ago, where he appeared as a young Muslim Arab soldier “Mohammad Bin Qasim” in the PTV historical costume drama “Labbaik”. He then appeared in the historical drama “Babar” where he played Humayon, son of the Mughal emperor Babar.
Earlier this month, the actor lodged an FIR (first information report) with Lahore’s Defence Police Station, stating that he had been receiving death threats on phone by unknown individuals after his latest TV drama was aired.
Babar Ali went on to say that other artists have also been receiving threats from unknown extremist groups.
