Sindh Police Promotions: 866 promoted as Inspectors

KARACHI (APP): The Sindh Police has promoted 866 officials to the rank of Inspectors.

This was informed to Inspector General of Police, Sindh, A.D Khuwaja in a report.
AIG Establishment, Naeem Sheikh informed that the officials recruited during 1987 to 1993, promoted to ASIs and ranker ASIs and Sub-Inspectors were promoted to the rank of Inspectors.
The IGP was further informed that cases of 1047 officials were considered for promotion and only 866 were promoted. The remaining 181 officials were denied promotion due to different reasons.
Sindh Police claims 99% reduction in kidnapping for ransom
The promoted officials include, 387 from Karachi, 162 from Hyderabad, 76 from Mirpurkhas, 73 Shaheed Benazirabad, 69 of Sukkur and 99 of Larkana.
