PM Imran Khan unveils his vision to eradicate poverty in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that his vision is to bring 40 percent people out of poverty.

Addressing the closing ceremony of three-day Interior, Construction, Electrical and Electronics Expo on Monday, he said that much was talked about ‘roti, kapra aur makan’, but no work was done on it.

The prime minister said that his other objective is to save the national wealth. “We want to make the country a self-reliant. We have to go to the IMF to get loans. Establishment of justice will bring a change at each level,” he maintained.

Imran Khan said that the government is introducing Kamyab Pakistan Programme to raise the poor segment of the society on August 9.

He said that the government was trying its best to introduce reforms in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). “I have directed to make the master plan of each city. After the master plan, trees will not be cut in cities,” he announced.
