Britain to extend all-out cooperation to upcoming PTI govt

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has reiterated his party’s commitment to bring back Pakistan’s wealth transferred to Britain through money laundering. 

He was talking to British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew, who called on him at his Banigala residence in Islamabad and congratulated him on success of his party in elections.

Imran Khan said Pakistan considers its relations with the UK as very important, as a large number of Pakistani expatriates live in that country.

Expressing good wishes for the upcoming government, the British High Commissioner said PTI Chairman’s victory speech was positively viewed in the United Kingdom.

He said the British government is ready to extend all-out cooperation to the upcoming PTI government.

He said the Department for International Cooperation in UK would help Pakistani government in school enrollment of 2.2 million children.
