US supports constitutional process in Pakistan and Vote of No Confidence is a constitutional process
WASHINGTON – US State Department Spokesman Ned Price has said that US supports constitutional process in Pakistan. He further said that there is 'no truth' to the allegations levelled by Prime Minister Imran Khan that the US is involved in a conspiracy to remove him from power.
In his statement, he said: "We are closely following developments in Pakistan. We respect (and) we support Pakistan’s constitutional process and the rule of law," Price said.
Meanwhile, White House Director of Communications Kate Bedingfield said that there is 'absolutely no truth' to allegations that Washington is working with the opposition in Pakistan to remove Prime Minister Imran Khan.
