Iran welcomes Arab League statement on Syria's sovereignty over Golan Heights

Iran has welcomed a recent Arab League statement which endorses Syria's sovereignty over Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said Arab League's move to support Syria's territorial integrity is a positive step amid U.S. efforts to legitimize Israel's occupation of Golan Heights.
Qasemi urged Muslim world to continue to prioritize the issue of occupation of Arab-Muslim lands by Israel.
