KABUL – The sound of an heavy explosion was heard in Kabul city withpreliminary reports indicating a car bomb was detonated close to a majoraccommodation compound.
There are no words regarding the type of the explosion and possiblecasualties.
Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior confirmed that theexplosion took place at around 9:45 pm local time close to Green Village in9th district of the city.
