In the interview given to Star Sports, former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir was asked if there was any message from Babar Azam's century in the opening match of the Asia Cup for Team India. To this, he responded by saying that he doesn't think they need any message, but despite that, they will face a challenge from India's fast bowlers.
The former cricketer mentioned that in traditional encounters between rival teams, the presence of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, and Mohammad Siraj won't make it easy for Pakistan. India also possesses a strong attack that can pose difficulties for Babar Azam and his company.
Babar Azam has an impressive average of 59.47 in One Day Internationals, having scored 5353 runs. However, against India, he has managed to score only 158 runs in five innings with an average of 31.60.
These comments from Gautam Gambhir reflect the intense rivalry between India and Pakistan in cricket and highlight the challenges that Babar Azam and the Pakistani team may face when playing against India's formidable bowling lineup
