Rs 80 billion Kachhi Canal project completes in Balochistan

Water and Power Development Authority has completed construction of Phase-I of Kachhi Canal project in Balochistan at a cost of eighty billion rupees.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is scheduled to formally inaugurate the canal in 2nd week of this month by releasing water in the distribution systems.
The three hundred sixty three kilometer long main canal takes off from Taunsa Barrage and ends at Dera Bugti district.
