Kashmir Council EU organizes camp in Brussels against Indianatrocities in IHK

ISLAMABAD (APP): Kashmir Council EU organized a three-day camp in Brussels to highlight Indian atrocities against the oppressed people of Indian Held Kashmir (IHK).
Participants of the first day of the camp called European Union (EU) to immediately interfere and prevent Indian brutalities against the people of Jammu and Kashmir, said a press release received here.
The camp launched on Wednesday in front of European Union (EU) External Action Services Office (At Schuman) and a large number of the people specially Europeans showed their keen interest to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir.
Participants of the protest-camp condemned recent killings of Kashmiris during the peaceful protest in IHK.
They said, Indian forces violate international laws by using pellet guns on the peaceful demonstration which damaged eyes of the innocent people.
Participants of the camp called upon European Union to transfer the people with severe injuries from IHK to Europe for treatment on the humanitarian basis.
Raising placards having anti Indian slogans, the participants expressed their solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiris specially families of martyrs targeted by Indian forces in IHK.
Paying great tribute to the brave people of Kashmir, the participants called upon European Union to immediately intervene in order to stop Indian brutalities against the oppressed people of Kashmir.
On the occasion, Chairman Kashmir Council EU Ali Raza Syed said that the Indian forces using new weapons of torture against Kashmiris.
These are PAVA shells which would be replaced pellet guns.
About side effects of this lethal weapon, quoting doctors, he said, It works through nervous system, it temporarily paralyses the human being. It is to use on the animals to control them.
Ali Raza said, we will continue our support to the people of Kashmir till suitable resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
He said, people of Kashmir are struggling peacefully for right of self determination and there should be plebiscite under United Nations supervision in order to make clear political fate of the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The gathering was informed that beside killing of more than 100 people and injuring hundreds of them, about 400 Kashmiris specially young boys lost their eyes when the Indian security forces fired with pellets guns on the faces of the people during recent peaceful protest in the held Kashmir.
Chairman Kashmir Council EU pointed out that deployment of above seven lacs Indian troops in IHK is a proof of human rights violations are being committed by these occupation forces.
Indian authorities are engaged to press the peaceful mass movement by use of force and brutalities specially massacre of the innocent Kashmiris.
Ali Raza Syed further said that freedom struggle will not be stopped by Indian evil designs and its illicit rule. He added, Kashmiri people will continue their struggle for freedom from Indian occupation.
