Renowned Indian journalist Vikrant Gupta raised questions about the national cricket team's flawed fielding and batting.
Tweeting on the social media site Twitter (X), famous Indian sports journalist Vikrant Gupta wrote that Pakistan will have to make a great effort to win against stronger teams in the big matches, especially in the fielding/catching and spin attack.
He said that Pakistan's current team tends to crumble under pressure from any opponent, and they will have to rely on their fast bowlers with the new ball in the initial 10 overs, or else they will be at a disadvantage.
Vikrant Gupta mentioned that spinners will play a significant role in India during the early stages of the scheduled World Cup matches, which could lead to changes in conditions if played in October. However, Pakistan will need to work on their batting and fielding.
He further questioned why Shadab Khan did not bowl overs in the match against New Zealand, and he couldn't understand why Pakistan's current spin attack appears weak and this is the biggest weakness of Pakistan team in World Cup.
