Pakistan and Saudi Arabia ink landmark agreement

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have signed a memorandum of understanding for bilateral cooperation in the IT sector.

According to details, a meeting took place between Federal Minister for IT, Omar Saif, and Engineer Abdullah Amer Al-Swaha, in which Pakistani Ambassador Ahmed Farooq, Saudi officials, and IT experts participated.

Following the meeting, both sides signed a bilateral MOU on mutual cooperation in the IT sector, agreeing to collaborate in the field of IT in both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Both countries have also agreed to promote the private sector in the IT industry, and the agreement includes a bilateral pact on digital economy within the scope of the MOU.
