Income tax returns filing, FBR makes important announcement on last day

Islamabad: Today is the last day to submit income tax returns at the tax offices, according to the spokesperson of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Those unable to submit their returns can request an extension of fifteen days.
According to details, the last date for filing income tax returns at the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is today. The FBR spokesperson mentioned that waiting for the last date should be avoided.
The spokesperson also stated that those who cannot submit their returns can request a fifteen-day extension.
On the other hand, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has stated that the Karachi Tax Bar Association has raised some issues in a letter, but these issues are not related to filing tax returns for the year 2023, as they have already been resolved within the department.
