Khawaja Brothers faces a setback from the Accountability Court

LAHORE - An accountability court on Tuesday extended judicial remand of former railway’s minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique until October 5, in Paragon Housing Scandal case.

Accountability court Judge Jawad ul Hassan heard the case aganist Khawaja brothers.

The court sought further arguments regarding Khawaja brothers' acquittal pleas and granted another extention into their judicial remand till October 5.

On April 26, the NAB Lahore approved the filing of a reference against the Khawaja brothers and Nadeem Zia for the alleged corruption in the same case.

The decision was taken in a regional board meeting that was attended by NAB Lahore’s director general and other directors.
