LPG prices raised in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) price has been increased by Rs5.

The price was increased following the 40 per cent hike in the gas tariff.

The price of household gas cylinder has increased by Rs65 while the price of commercial gas cylinder has increased by Rs292. A notification has been issued in this regard.

The federal government Sunday decided to increase the price of link) by 15 rupees per kilogram.

Sources close to the development said the revised prices would be applicable in the provinces of Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunhwa, whereas Punjab will not be affected by the hike as many gas stations have converted to LNG.
