Govt need people's support for deliverance: Governor Punjab

ISLAMABAD: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Khan said the government could not do anything alone without the support of people and Prime Minister Imran Khan was the last hope of masses.
Talking to a private TV Channel on Sunday, he said a huge amount was expended on clean drinking water project in past but people were still using the contaminated water.
To a question, he said the government believed on devolution of power because the formula of centralized power had failed across the globe, adding the government wanted to depoliticized the institutions for the development of the country.
He said Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar was a very humble and hard working man who daily pay surprise visit to different offices to resolve the problems of pubic.
He said our exports were less as compared to imports so the government was seeking new agreements to enhance the trade volume.
He said around 25,000 people daily visit Punjab Governor House and several hundred students were getting education in the attached building of Governor House.
