ISLAMABAD - Former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) director general Asad Durrani has approached the Islamabad High Court over the issue of Exit Control List.
Former spy Chief has filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking the removal of his name from Exit Control List (ECL).
Interior Ministry has put his name on the ECL after his controversial book came in the market. Asad Durrani has challenged the ministry’s notification to put on his name in the ECL upon his controversial book.
The petitioner took the plea that to put his name on the ECL after inquiry is violation of basic human rights.
He further said that to implement a travel ban is a serious violation of basic rights mentioned in the constitution of Pakistan, therefore, the court should set aside the notification.
