Afghanistan’s peace talks face yet another blow

MOSCOW – Afghanistan Peace talks faces another bump, after a Taliban Commander on Monday ruled out any chance of peace talks with the United States of America.

In an interview with a Russian-based media organisation, the Taliban commander said that the US cannot be trusted, adding that no one was given authority for dialogues.

He said that the US had never cooperated with them.

The commander went on to say that the US jets even pounded them when they had been fighting Daesh in Afghanistan.
