Government increases petrol price by Rs 2.49 per liter

ISLAMABAD: The Finance Ministry on Tuesday approved the summary sent by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) regarding an increase in the prices of petroleum products.
According to the notification issued on Tuesday, the petrol price has been increased by Rs 2.49 per liter, while high-speed diesel witnessed an increase of Rs 5.19 per liter.
The light-speed diesel has been increased by Rs 5 per liter.
The new prices are applicable from November 1, 2017.
