People stand by PML-N, party to secure victory in next elections: Shahbaz

ISLAMABAD: President PML-N and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif says the people stand by the PML-N and the party will secure victory in the next general elections.
He was addressing the party leaders from Multan and Bahawalpur in Islamabad on Monday.
Shahbaz Sharif said that he has also held public meetings in Karachi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the people there are appreciative of the steps taken by the PML-N for restoration of peace and stability.
He said PTI Chairman Imran Khan presented eleven point agenda at Lahore's public gathering but failed to deliver in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Earlier addressing the party leaders, Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said the PML-N addressed the challenges of terrorism and power outages in its present tenure of five years.
He said we restored peace in Karachi and put the economy on the right track. During this tenure, we also established hospitals, universities and colleges.
The former Prime Minister said that we also completed projects such as Neelum-Jhelum, Nandi Pur and Kachi Canal. APP/AFP
