Indian passports and 3 Kg Heroin recovered from a Lahore Police Constable in Batapur

LAHORE: The Lahore Police conducted raid on a police constable’s house in Lahore and arrested him over his alleged involvement in drugs smuggling in India. Police also recovered Indian passports, 3Kg heroin and ammunitions from his possession.
As per details, the police constable has been identified as constable Nadeem and he was serving in the investigation department of Defense B police station.
According to Police sources, he has been detained from Batapur area on the allegations of supporting a gang for drugs smuggling to India.
Ammunitions, Mobile Sims, Indian Passports and 3 Kg heroin have been recovered by police.
The suspect constable has been shifted to unknown place for further investigation while Police have started to conduct raids to arrest his other accomplices.
