Pakistan making hectic efforts for durable peace in Afghanistan: FM

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmooq Qureshi says dialogue process with Afghanistan has been progressing in right direction and we are waiting for positive outcome.
Speaking to media in Jahanian neare Khanewal on Sunday ,he said Pakistan is committed to durable peace in Afghanistan.
Replying to a question, he said demand for mid-term elections by Pakistan Mulim League Nawaz is uncalled for in the current situation.
He said Pakistan is facing external and internal challenges and the opposition should extend cooperation in this regard.
The Foreign Minister expressed hope that all challenges will be overcome under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the country will not be able to afford any fresh elections.
Talking to media in Multan on Sunday, he said opposition is doing negative politics by raising the slogan of mid-term elections in the country.
He said the government heard the point of view and criticism of the Opposition in the budget session of the parliament with patience.
Speaking about the flying of anti-Pakistan banners and scuffles during the Pakistan-Afghanistan World Cup cricket match at Leeds, Qureshi said using sports for malicious propaganda is unacceptable.
He said Pakistan will raise the issue with the concerned quarters for probe into the matter so that those responsible be brought to the book.
