27 killed in Taliban attacks in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, twenty-seven people including government troops and officials were killed in attacks by Taliban in Kandahar and Farah provinces.
According to police chief of Kandahar, eight election workers and eleven Afghan security personnel were killed alongside the four suicide bombers in Kandahar province.
In a separate attack, Taliban killed eight Afghan soldiers at a military checkpoint in Balabulak district in Farah province.
