Indian forces desecray mosques, torture people on Etikaf in IOK

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The High Court Bar Association (HCBA) of occupied Kashmir has strongly condemned the ransacking of three mosques and dozens of houses in Kolpora, Kulgam by the Indian armed forces, terming it as barbaric.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a spokesman of HCBA in a statement in Srinagar said that during the intervening night of June 29-30 men, women and children were mercilessly beaten by forces and the windows and doors of their houses were broken.
The spokesman said the personnel also entered Jamia Masjid, Hanfia Masjid and Masjid Al-Farooq in Kolpora and besides desecrating the religious scriptures, beat those who had sat on `Aatikaaf' in the mosques.
Condemning what it termed as naked act of state terrorism, he demanded registration of an FIR against the guilty so that they are prosecuted and punished for the heinous crime.
