Karachiites can celebrate new year freely: Sindh CM

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said Sunday that Karachiites can celebrate the New Year without any hurdles as no roads, including those leading to Sea View will be blocked on New Year’s eve.

Talking to media after reviewing development works in different areas of the city, he said that he had ordered to remove all blockades on the roads leading towards the sea view.

He appealed the Karachiites to not create problems for anyone, adding that firing and one wheeling were not allowed.

The Sindh CM issued instructions to the authorities to allow citizens to freely enjoy the occasion.

Murad Ali Shah declared Punjab and federal government responsible for sugarcane crisis, saying that despite fixing the government has not announced subsidy for the sugar mills.

He went on to say that they were trying to again review the rates of sugarcane.
