Minister for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Saira Afzal Tarar says that government has achieved immense success in Health sector during 2017.
Talking to PTV, she said under Prime Minister’s National Health Programme, a large number of countrymen were provided medical treatment free of cost at panel hospitals. Saira Afzal Tarar said the federal government has made a roads map with coordination of provincial governments to face the health challenges jointly.
Meanwhile, addressing a gathering on the conclusion of a two-day free eye camp in Hafizabad, she said tele-medicine project is being launched in different districts of Punjab. She said under the project, a vast majority of needy people in the province will be provided medical treatment free of cost in the nearest government hospitals through Skype and modern technology.
