Balochistan govt making efforts to provide basic health facilities to poor masses

Balochistan government is making efforts to provide basic health facilities to the poor masses in the province.

The Director General Provincial Health Services Department Shakir Baloch told Radio Pakistan Quetta during a briefing today (Sunday) that project to control the epidemic diseases in the province is also being implemented at a cost of 2.5 billion rupees.

He went on saying that construction work at a hospital in Naal area of Khuzdar district is to be completed at a cost of 270 million rupees.

Replying to a query, he said that another programme to control Tuberculosis is also being carried out in the province at a cost of 551 million rupees.
