ECO members agree to establish judicial ties mechanism

Attorneys and Prosecutor Generals of ECO at a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday agreed to establish a judicial cooperation mechanism.
In a declaration adopted at the meeting, they recognized the need for strengthening bilateral and regional judicial cooperation for security, stability and development of the member states.
The declaration emphasized the need for dynamic and operational collaboration to fight against human trafficking, migrant smuggling and cybercrime.
The member countries also expressed desire to maintain the momentum of high level exchanges and consultations providing impetus for deepening ties.
