Pakistan and Iran decide to enhance bilateral trade ties

Zahedan: Pakistan and Iran are deliberating on boosting trade activities in meeting held between the trade officials in Zahedan, Iran.

According to details, the two-day meeting of Joint Border Trade Committee of Pakistan and Iran will conclude today in which both sides discussed option to enhance trade activities between the two neighboring countries.

Pakistani side, led by Collector of Pakistan Customs, discussed trade activities Iran and Pakistan and explored avenues to increase it.

Last week, Iran had expressed his keen desire to improve trade ties with Pakistan when an eight-member trade delegation of Iran held meeting with Pakistani business community in Karachi.

The Iranian delegation led by Managing Director of Milad-e-Noor company, Ali Mohtassham Amiri, held meetings with President Karachi Chambers of Commerce and Industry Agha Shahab Ahmed Khan in Karachi.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed possibilities of enhancing trade and business relations between Pakistan and Iran.

The head of Iranian delegation said they want to improve trade ties with Pakistan as potential exists for making Pakistan and Iran a powerful business partners.
