IHC orders to club identical petitions of Behria Town

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) clubbed all identical petitions of Behria Town challenging the actions of Capital Development Authority (CDA) against the alleged encroachment by the housing society and adjourned the case for indefinite time.

Justice Aamer Farooq of IHC resumed hearing on petition of Behria Town challenging CDA's action for removing encroachments on its land.
During hearing, the petitioner's counsel prayed the court to issue orders to stop CDA operations against Behria Town.

The judge remarked that whether the CDA was responsible for demarcation or he himself. The matter of illegal possession on CDA land was a separate issue, he said, adding that an identical petition of the accused had already been dismissed.
The counsel argued that Behria Town was authorized for demarcation of land.

The court, however, ordered to club the identical petitions of Behria Town and adjourned hearing of the case for indefinite time.
