Karachi Beach Games: A sigh of relief for Karachites

KARACHI (APP): The Third Edition of KCSA Karachi Beach Games concluded with fanfare and success as more than plus players and officials and thousands of family members of participants and general public gathered here at Clifton Beach.
The organizers of the event said on Sunday that there were over 40 disciplines in the mega event.
As many as 65 para sports players & a contingent of 25 players and officials also took part.
Karachi platinum secured first position with 1,248 points and won Dr. Adeeb Rizvi running trophy.
Karachi Gold stood second with 1,008 points whereas Karachi Diamond with 776 points was third. Fourth position went to Karachi Silver with 568 points.
In the closing ceremony industrialist Bilal Ahmed was the chief guest. Rasheed Ahmed, Chief Executive Rasheed Textile presided.
Consul General of Germany and Deputy Consul General of Sri Lanka beside Gulzar Feroz, Khalil Ahmed Nanitalwala, Muhammad Aslam Khan, Muhammad Khalid Rehmani, Major Shabbir, Khursheed Shah, Wasim Hashmi, Ahmed Ali Rajput, Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Asghar Baloch, Muhammad Baran, Muhammad Ali Judo, Nadia Razzak para sports, Qudsia Raja were also present the occasion.
Muhammad Aslam Khan President KCSA while thanking sponsors announced to hold inter-city games between Karachi and Hyderabad and also announced to introduce best player of the year award one for male and one for female with cash prize for all Karachi based players who perform excellently in the international & national competitions in 2016.
