ECP announces deadline for accepting objections over delimitation

ISLAMABAD - Election Commission of Pakistan has said process of accepting objections on delimitation from citizens throughout the country will continue upto 24th of this month.
According to the ECP, the commission has so far received 382 objections on delimitation of the constituencies.
These included 191 objections from Punjab and Islamabad, 112 from Sindh, 30 from Balochistan and 49 from FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ECP has established a facilitation centre at ECP Secretariat for submission of objections and facilitating the people regarding the initial delimitation of national and provincial assemblies.
Meanwhile, ECP has continued receiving objections on delimitation from across the country.
The commission has also launched the details of objections on proposed delimitation of the constituencies along with proposed maps by the petitioners on its website for public convenience and transparency.
