Sarfraz Ahmed likely to be made Pakistan new T20 Captain 

LAHORE: Sarfraz Ahmad is likely to be made Pakistan new T20 Captain as he is being considered a strong candidate for the captaincy of Pakistan T20 cricket team.

 

According to the sources, Pakistan Cricket Board Officials have agreed to appoint Mohsin Hasan Khan as Chief Selector and Aqib Javed as new Coach of Pakistani team while contract of Waqar Younis would not be extended which is going to be expired in the month of June.

 

Sources having a close eye on the matter further claimed that PCB Chairman will hold a press conference here at today and announce to release coach and selection committee from their post.

 

Fact finding committee report has not yet  been presented before Pakistan Cricket Board but Board has already decided to make some major changes in team management as Mohsin Hasan Khan and Aqib Javed are likely to be made Chief Selector and Coach respectively.

 

Mohsin Hasan Khan has already served as a Chief Selector of Pakistan cricket team while his matters have also been finalized with Shahryar Khan for taking new responsibility.


Aqib Javed is being considered the strongest candidate for the appointment as coach while he has already served as Pakistani bowling coach.
