Iranian ambassador in Pakistan calls on Interior Minister today

ISLAMABAD: Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost called on Interior Minister Ch. Nisar today (Friday) in Islamabad and discussed affairs pertaining to security cooperation and bilateral ties in the meeting.

 

Speaking at the occasion, Ch. Nisar expressed his grief over the use of Iranian soil against Pakistan saying that Pakistan has rendered many sacrifices to establish peace in the region.

 

Both dignitaries exchanged views over the matters related to arrest of Indian RAW agent in Pakistan while presence of RAW network in Iran also came under discussion.

 

Ch. Nisar expressed his concerns over the presence of RAW in Iran saying that Iran’s territory is being used for terrorist’s activities in Pakistan.

 

Interior Minister also demanded to hand over Rakesh alias Rizwan, accomplice of Kalbhushan Yadav to Pakistan in the meeting.

 

He further added that Iranian government should seriously review Pakistani reference to boost confidence of both countries in border areas.

 

Talking with Interior Minister, Iranian Ambassador informed Ch. Nisar about his government stance adding that Pakistan is brotherly neighbour of Iran and both countries have close and cordial relations.

 

He assured Interior Minister Ch. Nisar that Iran will not allow its soil to be used against Pakistan while all the concerns of Pakistan will be removed in this regard.
