LAHORE – Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif has hit out hard over theNational Accountability Bureau.

He criticized the dual-standard of National Accountability Bureau by sayingthat if corruption of even a single penny is proved against him, he will beanswerable to people.

Talking to audience in a ceremony, CM Shehbaz said that well-heeled eliteis sermonizing others while it embezzled billions.

He said they should not talk about the poor of the country.

About metro train, he said that the mega project was halted for 22 monthswhich the people of Lahore are avenging. He also paid tribute to the peopleof Lahore.

He also criticized Imran Khan saying that his job is protesting and holdingsit-ins instead of working.

He said that the elite took loans of billions and had them written offwhich increased the gap between the poor and the rich. “Punjab EndowmentFund gave loans to 2 million people without any interest”, he said
