US Journal lauds economic reforms in Pakistan

A prominent US journal has appreciated economic reforms and security stability in Pakistan.

In its report, the Wall Street Journal said middle class society is now getting benefits of economic stability in the country. It said purchasing power of a common man has increased while poverty has been reduced in recent years.

The WSJ report noted that Pakistan is about to achieve highest level of economic activities.

It said China is investing billions of dollars in Pakistan for the construction of basic infrastructure which will boost economic activities in the country.

Commenting on law and order in the country, the journal said democracy got strengthened while a considerable decline in terrorist attacks has been witnessed.
