Tehreek Labaik Ya Rasool Allah (SAW) protest continue

ISLAMABAD: Tehreek Labaik Ya Rasool Allah (SAW) continued protesting on Thursday at the Faizabad in the federal capital in favor of their demands.

The participants of the protest arrived in Islamabad and demanded that the government identified and punished the persons responsible behind the recent change of wording in the declaration of Khatm-e-Nabuwat in election laws.

Thousands of protesters participated in the rally and staged a sit-in in Faizabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Khadim Hussain Rizvi said that they wouldn’t leave Islamabad until their demands were met.

He warned of giving a call for countrywide strike today if their demands were not met.

The participants of the rally arrived from Lahore to protest changes made to the Khatam-e-Nabuwat declaration for electoral candidates.

The protesters’ demanded the government to identify and punish those involved in the recent change of wording in the declaration of Khatam-e-Nabuwat in election laws. The protesters claim that the change was a conspiracy to weaken the oath of Khatm-e-Nabuwat.

The demonstrators also demanded Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah to be de-seated due to his recent pro-Ahmedi statements.

Menwhile, the twin-cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad witnessed worst traffic jam owing to negligence of traffic authorities and continue protest of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allha (SAW) as its workers gathered at main Faziabad interchange.

The twin-cities main roads including Islamabad Expressway, IJ Principal Road, Murree Road were closed for all sort of traffic as long lines of traffic witness on these roads. On the other hand great traffic rush witness on Murree Road from Faizabad to Dhokri Chowk.
