Space ship “Curiosity” sends Selfie from Mars mission
WASHINGTON: NASA had sent a rover named Curiosity on Mars in August 2012 for studying the surface of Mars.

 

The rover mission’s official name is Mars Science Laboratory.

 

The rover has sent many pictures before but latest picture taken by Curiosity rover is a Selfie near sand dune on January 19 which was Curiosity’s 1228th day on Mars.

 

The picture was taken by Mars hand lens imager at the end of rover’s arm.

 

The rover has also taken other pictures during its mission.

 

Curiosity is working on sand dunes since December 2015.
