Eid Milad un Nabi: Mobile Phone services to remain suspended

KARACHI: Sindh government has asked the federal Interior Ministry to suspend cellular and internet services in Sindh on Friday.
In a letter to the federal Interior Ministry, Sindh government cited security concerns on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) which will be observed on Friday, December 1, 2017, as the primary reason for their request.
Cellular services would remain suspended in different cities of Sindh including Sukkur, Karachi and Hyderabad from 8:00am to 8:00pm.
