Auditor General of Pakistan tasked to perform audit of all federal ministries

ISLAMABAD: Federal Government has given a task to Auditor General of Pakistan for the audit of all federal ministries. AGP Rana Asad said that auditors will also observe the provincial government’s performances.
As per details, Rana Asad was addressing the ceremony, held in department of Auditor General of Pakistan. He said that an agreement is being signed with NAB to eradicate menace of corruption.
He further added that special audit of ministry for commerce will be performed in the first phase. The performance and targets of ministries will be reviewed in audit.
Public Accounts Committee has become active regarding the audits. Rana Asad also stated that the audit of plots of Pakistan embassy which were sold in Jakarta and Tokyo is completed. Report will be sent to PAC till March 30.
