ANF foiled a bid to smuggle heroin abroad at Karachi Airport

KARACHI: Anti-Narcotics Force has foiled a bid to smuggle heroin abroad and arrested two accused at Karachi Airport here at today (Friday). The accused wanted to smuggle heroin to Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
According to ANF Spokesperson, ANF conducted raid here at Karachi Airport and recovered 1100 grams of heroin from a passenger, departing Karachi to Dubai via private airline.
The accused has been identified as Rizwan Haider and heroin pad was hidden by accused Rizwan in his socks. Accused Rizwan revealed that heroin pad was given to him by a PIA loader in Washroom while Muhammad Faizan had also been arrested by ANF on the identification of arrested accused.
In another action, ANF recovered high quality heroin from the possession of a passenger, leaving for Saudi Arabia from Karachi.
Heroin had been hidden inside the bat after empty it while recovered heroin has worth of million dollars in international market.
ANF official said that case has been registered against both accused and started further investigation.
