ISLAMABAD – Powerful earthquake jolts Islamabad, Lahore and other majorcities across the country on Tuesday.
As per media report, earthquake with an intensity of 5.8 on the RichterScale jolted Islamabad, Lahore and other parts of the country on Tuesdayevening.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the 5.8-magnitudeearthquake struck at a shallow depth of 10 kilometers with its epicenterlying 1km southeast of Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

According to details, tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree,Jhelum, Charsadda, Swat, Khyber, Abbottabad, Bajaur, Nowshera, Mansehra,Battagram, Torghar and Kohitan.
