ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has not made any monetary commitments with Srilankacricket team for visiting Pakistan, it has been revealed by the PakistanCricket Board (PCB) CEO Wasim Khan.
Khan clarified that the board has not made any monetary commitments to theSri Lankan cricket team in order to convince them to tour Pakistan, *DailyJang* reported link.
Sri Lankan Cricket (SLC) had at first showed reservations on sending itsteam to a country where its players had come under attack in 2009. However,they later had a change of hearts, which gave rise to suspicions that thePCB may have opened their cheque book, which is what they had done in thepast to make reluctant players board the Pakistan-bound flight for thePakistan Super League.
However, the PCB chief executive has denied doing the same this timearound.
“We are not paying Sri Lanka even a penny,” he is quoted as saying by*Jang.* “They are coming to Pakistan without being paid anything.”
