Turkish President Erdogan asked to raise Kahsmir issue at UNGA and OIC Contact Group

ISLAMABAD – Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly member and former Presidentof Jamaat-e-Islami, Abdul Rashid Turabi has urged Turkish President RecepTayyip Erdogan to raise Kashmir dispute at upcoming UN General Assemblysession.

In an interview with Anadolu Agency in Ankara, he said Erdogan should leadand mobilize the OIC Contact Group, besides calling for special session ofits foreign ministers to discuss the humanitarian crisis in occupiedKashmir.

He said inside India there is no safety for Muslim population.

He further said Muslim rulers need to do something to counter internationalagenda of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh the fountainhead of ruling BharatiyaJanata Party in India.

Turabi said by removing Article 35A “BJP plans to change demography” ofJammu and Kashmir.
