KABUL – A Senior Afghan Taliban Commander has been killed in Afghanistan,Afghan security forces have claimed.
The security forces killed the shadow district chief of Taliban for Zaridistrict of Balkh province during a clash on Saturday.
The 209th Shaheen Corps said in a statement a group of Taliban militantsclashed with the security forces at around 8:45 pm on Saturday night,Khaama Press has reported.
The statement further added that the security forces responded to theattack killing Mawlavi Gul Ahmad alias Abuzar, the shadow district chief ofTaliban for Zari.
