British couple arrested at Pakistani Airport for smuggling attempt of 25 kg heroine

ISLAMABAD – A British couple has been arrested at Pakistani Airport forsmuggling attempt of 25 kg heroine.

The British couple have allegedly been caught with 25 kilograms of topquality heroin in their luggage at a Pakistan airport.

Airport Security Force foiled the alleged attempt to smuggle heroin toUnited Kingdom at Sialkot international airport on Thursday.

The couple were said to have been trying to travel in Business Class to UKvia Dubai through international airline Emirates Airlines flight (EK-621)from Sialkot international airport.

The Foreign Office will not confirm their names. We have attempted to speakto family members but have been unable to confirm their identities.

The 20-year-old female who was born in Huddersfieldlink and her 26-year-oldhusband who was born in Dewsbury, were due to arrive in London last night.

Staff found the drugs while scanning, with them hidden in clothes. Packetswere sewed in different parts of several clothes.

The ASF authorities took the heroin into custody and registered a caseagainst the couple. – Examiner Life
