ISLAMABAD – Several helicopters carrying foreign trekkers from Nepal’sLukla town had to make emergency landings at various locations due to zerovisibility on Tuesday.
The nine choppers were returning from Lukla located in Nepal’s SolukhumbuDistrict, the gateway to the Mount Everest region, a media report said.
Inclement weather has gripped Nepal’s Kathmandu Valley.
As per Sputnik, nine helicopterslinkwhichtook off Tuesday morning from the Tenzing–Hillary Airport (aka LuklaAirport) with tourists onboard, four made emergency landings at Basu inKavrepalanchok district, the Airlines Operators Association Nepalspokesperson Yograj Kandel told daily The Kathmandu Post.
