Two Americans arrested in New Delhi, high security central Secretariat area photographs recovered from suspects

NEW DELHI: Two Americans have been arrested in New Delhi and high securitycentral Secretariat area photographs werw recovered from suspects.

Indian police took both American nationals into custody for flying dronenear the presidential palace in the capital New Delhi, local media reportedon Monday.

According to local broadcaster NDTV, police arrested a father and his sonfor flying a drone near Rashtrapati Bhavan, the presidential palace ofIndia.

“Both were taken into custody on Sept. 14,” said Delhi police since Indianauthorities banned flying of drones in the capital.

The duo was identified as Peter James Lynn, 65, and his son GuillaumeLeadbetter Lynn, 30. They reached India as tourists from the U.S. onSaturday.

The police officials said that they recovered a few photographs of thehigh-security Central Secretariat area from the suspects’ video camera,according to the report.
