ISLAMABAD – Pakistan seek US and UN Security Council intervention againstIndia over Occupied Kashmir conflict.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has urged the global leadership toplay its due role in resolution of Kashmir issue.
In an interview with Radio Pakistan’s News and Current Affairs Channel, hesaid UN Security Council and US President Donald Trump can play their rolein this regard.
Foreign Minister said the United States has great influence on India and itcan ask New Delhi to resolve the Kashmir problem.
He said we are calling for third-party facilitation and mediation as thingsare not moving ahead bilaterally between Pakistan and India.
To a question, he said there are no chances of any dialogue with India inview of the illegal steps taken by the New Delhi regime on 5th of the lastmonth to revoke special status of the Indian Occupied Kashmir.
The Foreign Minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will address theUN General Assembly session on 27th of this month, where he will highlightplight of the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Meanwhile, addressing a public gathering in connection with Kashmirsolidarity in Multan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistanwill continue to support the Kashmiris in their just struggle for right toself-determination.
He said Pakistan has raised the Kashmir issue at all international forums.
